The Institute
The certificate, before you enrol
This page exists for one reason. A certificate nobody has seen is a promise; a published certificate is a document. Below is exactly what we issue, with the watermark that makes it unusable as an original.
On this page

Facsimile of the certificate of attendance issued by Istituto Belmonte. The image reproduces the real document in every part, with the details of a fictitious participant and the word SPECIMEN watermarked across the surface. The real document is on headed paper, A4, and is handed over as a printed original and as a digitally signed PDF. The program completion certificate has the same header, the same footer and the same closing clause, and differs in the body.
What it says, field by field
| Field | What it contains | Why it is there |
|---|---|---|
| Header | Istituto Belmonte, full registered company name, registered office, VAT number, REA number | The issuer is identifiable and verifiable in a public register |
| Number | Year and sequence, e.g. 2027/014 | Every document is unique and traceable in our register |
| Participant details | Given name, family name, place and date of birth, identity document number | The document is personal and not transferable |
| Program | Exact program title, as published in the catalog | A reader can compare it with the program page, still online |
| Site and mode | «Delivered in person at [site or sites]» | It says where the person actually was. It does not cover distance learning |
| Period | Start and end date, to the day | An office cross-checks the dates against the student's period of absence |
| Hours | Total hours of teaching activity, e.g. 100 hours | It is the figure by which training without credits is measured |
| Modules | List of modules with the hours of each | It says what was inside, not only how long it lasted |
| Attendance | Percentage of scheduled hours actually attended | The certificate is issued from 80% upwards, and the real percentage stays on the document |
| Language | Language of delivery for that intake | Declared per intake, not per catalog |
| Closing clause | What the document is not | Below, in full |
| Signatures | Program director and legal representative | Two signatures, two roles, two distinct responsibilities |
| Verification code | Unique alphanumeric code | Lets a third party verify without going through the person presenting the document |
What it is not
This certificate attests solely to attendance at the activities listed. It is not a qualification. It carries no Italian university credits (CFU) and no ECTS credits. It is not an academic award. It does not entitle the holder to practice any regulated profession. It has no official validity in Italy or in any other country. It is not automatically recognized by any institution. Academic recognition of these hours rests solely with the student's home institution.
This clause is printed on the document itself; it is not a note on this page. A certificate that states for itself what it is not is a certificate somebody wrote carefully.
Who signs it
Two people, in two distinct roles. The program director, who owns the syllabus, has tested the modules and answers for the quality of the program, and the legal representative of the delivering company. The name and role of both are printed on the document and communicated to the institution bringing the group at the start of the program. On the website, by deliberate choice, we publish the role and not the name.
How it is verified
Every document carries a unique alphanumeric verification code at the foot. Once the verification page is live, whoever receives the document will be able to enter it there and see name, program, dates, hours and document status.
Status of this function, declared. The verification page has still to be built and does not yet exist. Until it does, verification is done by writing to institucional@istitutobelmonte.com with the document number, and we reply within two working days.
Full text of the two documents
The documents are issued in Italian, because that is the language of the issuing company and of the register in which the issuer can be checked. A sworn English translation can be requested, and the conditions are written into the contract before signing. The English wording below is that translation.

A route that exists, and is not ours
Many institutions' regulations treat a period abroad outside a formal agreement as a liaison program: lawful, and without credits. Where those same regulations do provide for recognition, the condition is that the student's own institution appoints one of its own teaching staff as tutor, who follows the work and answers for it internally. That is a possibility in their rules, not an offer of ours. If the institution activates it, we supply the syllabus, the hours, the attendance register and the deliverables submitted, in the format requested. We neither apply for nor obtain the recognition ourselves.
This program does not lead to any qualification with legal validity. Istituto Belmonte is a private training institute. Its programs do not confer qualifications with legal validity in Italy or in any other country and carry no academic credits. A certificate of attendance stating hours and content is issued at the end.
